SealProof Corp is owned and operated by Gennaro Arpaia, a tri-state waterproofing tradesman who decided the work deserved a contractor who actually knew it from the ground up.

Gennaro Arpaia spent two decades on tri-state job sites before he started SealProof — on his knees in cellars, at the parapet at end of day, learning each manufacturer's system by installing it correctly and watching what happened when other crews didn't.
The good ones read the spec. They walked the substrate. They called the rep on jobs that mattered. They documented the work. They took the time to do the detail — the cold joint, the transition, the termination — because they knew that's where the leak would start eight years later. SealProof was founded on that standard.

SealProof Corp is a majority woman-owned business. Vanessa Arpaia is the majority owner. Gennaro runs the field. Vanessa runs the company.

After graduating from Pace University with a bachelor's in business, I decided to pursue the waterproofing business. After years working with my family — and my father deciding to retire — I started SealProof. The company exists because the work deserves a contractor who knows it from the ground up."

Most envelope failures are detail failures, not material failures. The membrane usually works — the cold joint, transition, and termination are where leaks start. We read the drawings before mobilization, flag detail risks early, and walk the substrate before primer.
The warranty is what the owner paid for. It only stays valid when the system goes in by an authorized contractor, at the right thickness, with the manufacturer rep on the walk. We don't cut the procedure to save schedule. SealProof meets every warranty requirement as specified.
Photos of substrate, primer coverage, terminations, and transitions. Batch numbers and injection logs on grout work. Manufacturer sign-off on roofs and major envelope assemblies. When the building leaks five years from now, documentation is what separates a warranty claim from a finger-pointing exercise.
